A conversation with Chris Dodge the bassist of the band Trappist & writer of the No Corporate Beer column for Decibel Magazine.
A conversation about his first beer, his craft beer journey, the soundtrack of his youth, Trappist, No Corporate Beer, Metal Brewers & his hangover cure.
Throughout this interview Chris was drinking Brouwerij West's "Bounce IPA". This West Coast style IPA was hopped with Citra, Mosaic & Centennial hop was piney, dank & ultra crushable. It clocked in with a 7.1% ABV.

Matt was drinking a brew he received as a gift from Jorge A. Villanueva of the Vox&Hops Thirsty Thursday Gang. This delicious gift was Bellwoods Brewery's "Donkey Venom" the Barrel-Aged Dark Sour. This complex sour brew was tart, slightly sweet & had subtle hints of Caramel. It clocked in with a mighty 8.5% ABV.
Shout Out to Dan Klajncar, another member of the Thirsty Thursday Gang, for inspiring me to setup this interview!!
